A major media milestone for the Professional Women’s Hockey League 🏒 📺

The league will air its first national TV broadcast in the U.S. on March 28, with Ally Financial helping underwrite a game on Ion Television through Scripps Sports.

The matchup features the New York Sirens vs Montréal Victoire at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, as the league continues expanding its U.S. media footprint and building momentum for women’s hockey.

ICYMI: 12U Black’s HC, Tawny Ditto, becomes the first female head coach in Hagerstown Hammerheads history to win a championship, doing so in her first season leading the team.

Hey! Amy here! I figured it was time for a little reintroduction.

I’ve been running Essington Creative full-time for six years now, and in that time I’ve designed so many websites and captured countless photos and videos for some truly incredible people.

A few fun facts about me:

• I’m a parent to an amazing kiddo who is a pretty tough competitor in Connect 4.
• I discovered a love for camping last year, and my 2026 goal is to camp a lot more and film the unique things I find along the way.
• I’m trans and love supporting our local community by organizing gender-affirming closets throughout the year. Goal is to organize a few other unique and fun events this year.
• I live with multiple sclerosis and chronic pain which has taught me a lot about resilience and perspective.
• I’ve stepped back into the wedding industry and am offering wedding films again!

Thanks to the Pittsburgh Puffins for hosting us this weekend for a great time of hockey and friendship! Saturday night we tied 4-4, and Sunday morning the Puffins took the win 5-1. Can’t wait to see you at home at Hagerstown Ice and Sports Complex in December.
