Dear Mason-Dixon Roller Derby Community,

After 16 incredible years, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Mason-Dixon Roller Derby. Since 2008, this team has been more than just a league—it has been a family. Together, we’ve shared exciting victories, tough losses, and unforgettable moments on and off the track.

Throughout the years, we’ve grown as athletes, friends, and as a community. We’ve made lifelong connections, inspired each other, and brought the joy of roller derby to countless fans. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our skaters, coaches, referees, volunteers, sponsors, and fans. You’ve made this league a home for so many, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.

As we skate into the sunset, we carry with us the pride of knowing we built something special—something that will live on in our hearts, memories, and the relationships we’ve fostered.

Thank you for every cheer, every hard-fought bout, and every ounce of support you’ve given us over the years. Though this chapter is ending, the spirit of Mason-Dixon Roller Derby will roll on in each of us.

We had a special visitor at Practice today. Edna now know as Ed-Niallator, has been at the shelter far longer than she deserves to be. Just like us, she doesn't always need her wheels, but what she does need is a family to call her own. Edna is about 6 years old and full of life! We had a great St. Patty’s day, skating in the Pots O'Fun Roller Derby Event - Small Wonder FUNdraiser! It was great to share the track with so many other talented skaters in our area. Many thanks to Small Wonders Skate Club and all of the Volunteers, Officials, Photographers, and Vendors that helped make it a wonderful event.🍀
