This is how training at Pilates Tropics works, start to finish.

Everyone begins with the Baseline - one hour, one-on-one, $99. We talk, we measure, we test, we train, and we build your plan together. The video is the full walkthrough.

Then you choose how you train.

Privates and duets - your own schedule, your own teacher, your own company. One-on-one, or a private party of up to three people who train together.

Semi-privates - sessions of three to five people on a set weekly schedule, at Hallandale Beach. You come to the time. Your teacher still knows your numbers, your goals, and your left from your right.

And from there, the journey is a rhythm. Baseline. Training. Recalibration in three months. Training. Recalibration again. And off it goes.

We change the goals when you change. You might start with neck pain. A year later, your goal might be rock climbing. Who knows. We are here for all of it - up to the day you schedule a marathon you never thought you would even want.

This video exists because of a message from a client I have not seen in a while.

She trains hard in the gym - and while her body is getting stronger she feels compressed and restricted. She asked about our stretching classes, because she would love the relief of a good stretch.

I understood her completely. That craving for relief is real information - your body is asking for something. And the answer deserved more than a DM, so here it is.

At the studio I will not ask you which class or exercise you want. I will ask what result you want and how you want to feel. Reading what your body is actually asking for - that is my job. This knowledge is the reason you come to us, and sharing it is my favorite part of this work.

So tell me: how do you want to feel in your body?

A tiny wedge under her left big toe. Why? 🤔

Most bodies quietly live on their right side. The left big toe forgets its oldest job - sensing the floor. The wedge brings the floor up to the toe, and the brain finally gets the signal: you have a left side. Stand on it.

Bonus: a slightly lifted big toe tensions the tissue under the arch, and the arch turns into a spring. That is grounding - not a vibe, a signal.

This is the level of detail your feet get here. Book your Baseline - link in bio.

Let me describe someone I meet every single month.

Eight weeks of physical therapy for her lower back. Discharged. Pain mostly gone. A printed sheet of exercises and a “you are good to go.”

Week one, she does the exercises. Week three, sometimes. Week six, the sheet is under a magnet on the fridge and she is scared again - not of the pain, but of doing the thing that brings it back. So she lifts nothing, twists nowhere, and calls it being careful.

A year later her back is “fine.” Her life is smaller.

Now imagine the other version. At week six of her therapy, she finds us. With her permission, we call her therapist - the person who knows her case best - and we build the exit plan together. Her Baseline shows exactly where therapy left her. Then the posture. Then the strength. Then, slowly, the twisting, the lifting, the living.

Same injury. Same therapy. Two different years.

If the fridge version sounds familiar - even if your discharge was two years ago - the gap does not close itself. Start with the Baseline - $99. Link in bio.

Towel duty at the studio. Stay for four breaths. 🧘‍♀️

• In through your nose for 4.
• Out through your mouth for 6.

The inhale so quiet that nobody can hear it. The air into the sides of your ribs. Belly flat, neck relaxed.

That is less than a minute of nervous system work, done while I fold. 🍃

In the studio we go even slower - on purpose. The slower the breath, the deeper the change. It is one of the first things we teach, because the way you breathe is the way you carry your whole body.

Four breaths. Did you take them, or did you just scroll? Be honest.

When you try to film a cute video of yourself walking into the studio…

…and your very first take is Yarina and her client shaking it out after their session. 😂

Honestly, no second take could top this one.

New on Saturday mornings. 🌅

A mat class built from the original sequence - the one every reformer exercise came from. No springs, no props, no equipment. Your body, the mat, and nowhere to hide.

We designed this class to build up week by week. You start where everyone can start. Each Saturday asks a little more than the last - and by the new year, you will own the full sequence. Whole body, start to finish, done properly. 🤸‍♀️

Keti Kozko|Wellness will be teaching it. We are taking our time to build the class flow perfectly, exercise by exercise, before you ever step on the mat.

We will meet next door - at Feeling Free, our sister studio.

The first Saturday is very soon. The date will be announced right here. Stay tuned.🤘

Part two. 🙏 Tuesday was the funny excuses. These are the real ones.

The doctor she misheard. The guilt she renamed selflessness. The age she inherited like furniture. And slide 8 - slide 8 is the one nobody laughs at.

Here is what is behind every single one of them: nobody ever measured her. Nobody ever looked at her body specifically and said - this is where you are, this is where we start. So of course she is careful. Of course she waits.

That ends Saturday.

Open House at our Hallandale Beach studio, August 29. Four semi-private sessions, thirty minutes each, five people per session, $29. FLOW at 9:30. CONTROL at 10:30. BODY at 11:30. HIIT at 12:30.

Two days away. Twenty seats total. Booking closes Saturday at 8 am.

Link in bio. Tag the friend who said one of these - she already knows which slide is hers.
