This is the latest news from Caleb’s Wife following last nights injury with the Bull !
Thank you to everyone who has said a prayer for my husband, Caleb Wright. It truly means more than I can put into words. 🤎
He was in a very bad accident last night involving a bull and was airlifted to The Med. I was finally able to see him around 4:30 this morning.
He has a small brain bleed, and they will be doing more scans soon to monitor it. He also has two fractured vertebrae in his spine, and his left ankle is broken. He will need surgery on his ankle, hopefully today.
Right now, he is fully sedated and on a ventilator with the breathing tube breathing for him. They did try to lighten his sedation and wake him up, but he immediately tried to pull his breathing tube out. Needless to say, they have him fully sedated again.
I’m waiting for the doctors to come in so we can talk more about his surgery and the next steps, as well as get the results from his brain scans.
Please continue to pray for healing, strength, and patience for all of us. We know this is going to be a long road, but we are taking it one moment at a time.
