HEY HALLSVILLE!!

We still have a lot of slots open for volunteers for our first annual tournament this Sunday! Grab a spot and come watch some fun 6th grade boys basketball! We are starting light this year with just one age group and boys only, but it is our hope that if all goes well, we can make this an annual thing and do it for the girls and maybe even 5th graders as well…but we CANNOT do it without the help of parents and volunteers. It takes a lot of man power to pull something like this off. A whole lot of work has already gone into the planning, so now we just need helpers to grab one slot each so this can be a successful event for our kiddos that have worked so hard this season! Proceeds will go to purchasing equipment for HYBA as well as the school basketball programs. Please consider signing up for a spot!

A HUGE shout out to Hallsville Indians Boys Basketball for their help today with hosting youth games! These teens and their coaches showed up before 9am on their Saturday with a smile on their faces, and worked hard at the score table and concession stand. This was not only a huge relief to the adults that have to run a full day of games at the gym, but the 4th grade boys loved having them there! Our youth really look up to our HS athletes, and love to cheer them on in the stands at their games, so it’s fun to see them turning the support full circle. Great job boys, thanks for being the role models that you are, and good luck tonight!

Hallsville 3rd and 4th grade! You have a few more days to get your registrations in! We also are needing coaches for the 4th grade girls. If you have a 4th grade girl that is wanting to play basketball, please consider volunteering your time to coach so that these kiddos can have a season! It’s gonna be a great one. Go Indians!
