That’s a wrap! Our Dawgs finished out the season with a team party to close it out! Thank you to TJ and Alyssa for hosting it was a great time and awesome food! Thank you to all the families for being such a great group and supporting the team as much as you have. Thank you to everyone that stepped up and played a role in the season in some way! Thank you to all the coaches! Finally Thank you to all the players your hard work throughout the season was awesome, starting as a group of players that hadn’t played together ever, with many that had no prior travel experience you did an amazing job! Every player should be proud of every thing they have accomplished this year!

Our Dawgs had another great outing this evening at the Bisons game! We were all announced before the game and were down there for the national anthem. Then we started the game with a loud Play Ball!!! Everyone had an awesome game to watch with a bisons win, some game balls coming our way, and got treated to a dance off between Aidan and Sam with Aidan taking home some free eggs! Awesome time had by all the player’s and great to see our Dawgs getting time to relax after the season and just have a great time together! We have one more team get together for our final team party. Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it a memorable night for everyone!

Today our Dawgs had a little fun and headed out to the ball field for a game against the coaches and siblings. For this one the moms coached our dawgs and got to get out there and take some swings. It was a tight one but the coaches and siblings pulled out a 9-6 victory! We are headed out to the Bisons game next Thursday to get introduced on the field before the game hope to see a lot of you there!

Batting Champion- Brayden with a .519 Avg and .653 OBP
MVP- Easton 2nd in Avg, 1st OBP, 1st RBI, 2nd in K’s on the mound, 1st in fielding put outs
Dog Chain- Nick 3rd in batting avg, leader in runs and SB’s, tied in 2nd for fielding PO’s
Flag leadership winner- Colton showed solid leadership in various roles

Our Dawgs finished out our year with a thriller against Central Amherst. We battled hard throughout this one but again fell victim to the time limit when our bats started to get hot. We couldn’t have went out on a much better note against a higher level team. Great effort by everyone in this one. Our tournament Dawg Chain winner goes to Dean with solid tournament in the field coming up with some nice plays and continuing to get great shots at the plate. Our belt winner went to Gio with an awesome tournament at the plate and working hard behind it. Our tournament MVP went to Colton with some solid play in the field, on the mound, and at the plate. Looking forward to the Caoches vs Players game later this week!

Day two of Evans tourney, tough games but we hung in there both games. We also caught the 7u vs. 8u Dawgs game. For our first game we took on a tough OP team hanging in there taking it to the end. For this one our dawg chain winner was Tristan with a solid double and a good inning on the mound. Next our belt winner was Aidan with solid two innings pitched. And our MVP for this one was Colton continuing his solid hitting for the tournament. The next one we took on central Amherst where we had some solid hitting and pitching, just couldn’t pull together our fielding. Our Dawg chain for this one was Dean continuing some solid plays in the field and solid hitting, our belt winner for this one was Gio who is on fire at the plate along with some strong catching. Our MVP for this one was Hunter who showed a strong presence for his two innings on the mound and continued to make it on the base. We will see everyone tmrw for our last day of games for the year!!

We started our last tournament of the year off with lots of opportunities to take this one but could not get on track in the field. We had a solid game on the plate getting runners on and a nice triple by Colton. Our pitching was great for the night getting outs and hits that plays where there to be made. We move to Saturday with some tough matchups vs two solid teams. We will continue to grind and grow with our limits being tested. See everyone this weekend!

Our dawgs finished off our weekend with a tough game against Millcreek in the Gold Bracket semi final, though we didn’t come out with win we definitely pulled some good things out of the weekend playing with game rules that we will be doing next season in 10u. Our team also had some time to build on their relationships with our first out of town tournament and some good times at the hotel pool. Thanks to all the families for coming out and making the weekend a fun one and thanks to our players for working hard making it a fun and entertaining weekend for everyone!
