Buffalo Scuba

Instructor Jon worked with the Erie County Sheriff's Underwater Rescue Team, who recently picked up a surface supply for the unit. We were setting up their divers and getting them familiar with Surface Supply Operations. This Spring we will be Training and Certifying them as Public Safety Surface Supply Divers / Operators.

It’s snowing outside, but we’re revving the scuba temperature up inside! 🔥 We’re proud to announce, we now have three Scuba Service Technicians Shawn, Jon, and Jacob are authorized to maintain and repair dive gear, regulators, BCDs, cylinders, oxygen service, and more across almost every major brand. We also want to show off our brand new state of the art service counter for annual regulator servicing needs. If you need your gear serviced, don’t wait until spring! That’s when the entire 716-scubaverse brings gear in and there might be a waiting line. 🤿🔧

We like to introduce Christine & Jon as our new React Right Instructors! They will certify students for CPR/AED, First Aid, & Emergency Oxygen Administration.

Christine completed her EMT-B certification in 2017. She started as a volunteer EMT and firefighter for Orchard Park Fire Company and transitioned to working as a paid EMS provider at Orchard Park Fire District EMS in 2018. She became an American Heart Association BLS Instructor in 2021, providing training for first aid, CPR, and AED use. Christine continues to provide EMS services to her community through OPEMS and Hillcrest Volunteer Fire Company.

Jon brings a wealth of specialized experience to our operations, underpinned by his background as a US Navy Veteran, former Volunteer Fireman at Doyle Hose #2, EMS Captain, Emergency First Responder Instructor and Advanced-EMT. His extensive medical expertise is a cornerstone of our safety and training standards. A dedicated diver since 2000, Jon holds a wide range of certifications across NAUI, PADI, and SSI.

New Trip. Belize May 2027. We booked the entire private island of Blackbird Caye all-inclusive resort, awarded one of the best dive resorts in the Caribbean.
