Hammond Optimist Youth Sports is excited to host an official Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run event on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Hammond Optimist Sports Complex!

👦👧 Who Can Participate?
Boys and girls ages 7-14 (Age determined as of November 15, 2026)

Age Divisions:
• 7-8
• 9-10
• 11-12
• 13-14

Pitch, Hit & Run is MLB’s official skills competition where participants showcase their abilities in pitching, hitting, and running. Competitors earn points based on their performance, with the opportunity to advance from the Local Event to a Team Championship and potentially all the way to the Finals held during the 2026 MLB World Series! 🌟

This is an incredible FREE opportunity for young baseball and softball players to test their skills, compete, and have fun while being part of an official MLB program.

Spring is here, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite family events of the year! Join us for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt at Optimist Park where kids can enjoy hunting for eggs, meeting friends, and celebrating the season on the ballfields.
