The Hammond Yankees Premier 14U family is proud to officially welcome Coach Lainee Bailey as our Skills Coach for the 2026-2027 season!

Coach Lainee brings an outstanding softball résumé and a passion for developing young athletes. Her collegiate career at Pearl River Community College, Southeastern Louisiana University (NCAA Division I), and LSU Alexandria is highlighted by All-American, All-Conference, Regional, and Pitcher of the Year honors while competing at the highest levels of the game.

In addition to joining our coaching staff, Coach Lainee was recently hired as the Pitching Coach at Walker High School in Walker, Louisiana—her alma mater. We couldn't be more excited to have someone of her character, experience, and knowledge helping develop the next generation of softball players both at the high school level and within our organization.

Coach Lainee is passionate about teaching the fundamentals, building confidence, and developing the mindset it takes to compete at an elite level. Our athletes will have the opportunity to learn from someone who has proven herself at every level of the game and is dedicated to helping others reach their full potential.

Congratulations and Good Luck to our four USSSA Fastpitch All American Games Direct Invites that will be competing at USSSA Space Coast Complex this coming week. We are extremely proud of each of you. This is truly a testament to your hard work and dedication.

Below are the teams each of these young ladies will be competing with:

Well... we thought the Hammond Yankees 14U - Akers season was over after our World Series.... but Nope. These ladies decided to play again and play up... Way Up in a High School division tournament. Several of these teams had girls that had already graduated high school and several girls that were committed to college programs. Playing 12+ hours, in blazing heat... with only a single game break. Not only did these young ladies hold their own, they showed out... going 4-2-1 and finishing in 2nd place as tournament Finalist.

What a way to cap off an amazing season... or are we really done? Just wait and see.

Now we get ready to transition to Hammond Yankees Premier 14U.
