Join us for an All-American Celebration!

Celebrate with the Victory Belles and the Marine Forces Reserve Brass Quintet this afternoon at 5:00 p.m. at the Hammond Library Branch.

This special event is our way of honoring the men and women who have served our country, and we invite all veterans to be recognized during the celebration.

Thanks to our partners at Pray Family Sonic Restaurants, everyone can enjoy FREE hot dogs and refreshments. Bring your family, invite a friend, and join us for an evening of patriotic music, community, and appreciation for our nation's heroes!

The 13th Annual Southeast USA Spotlight has officially come to a close, and we couldn't be more proud of how Tangipahoa Parish shined.

Over the past week, we had the opportunity to showcase our attractions, local flavors, rich culture, and Southern hospitality while building meaningful connections with travel professionals from across the Southeast. The memories made and relationships formed this week will have a lasting impact for years to come.

A special thank you to Melinda Stubblefield Hughey with The RH Factor. For 13 years, she has brought Southeast USA Spotlight to life, creating opportunities and connections throughout the tourism industry. This year, she entrusted Tangipahoa Tourism with the honor of hosting, and we are incredibly grateful for her vision, partnership, and belief in our parish. ❤️

Thank you to every attendee, volunteer, sponsor, attraction, restaurant, festival, community leader, and partner who helped make this event a HUGE success. We could not have done it without you.

From the rich Italian heritage, traditions, and delicious cuisine of Independence to a high tea experience at Louisiana's only tea farm, our Travel Marketers enjoyed authentic experiences that can only be found in Tangipahoa Parish.
