Before and afters of one of my recent workups! It’s been a busy season, hoping to pick back up with the photos!

Attention SE Louisiana!

If you need a Baseball or Softball glove, new or old, broken in, repaired, or relaced I am available!

With over 4 years of experience, I specialize in getting your glove back to being a diamond gem in a hurry! For standard colors, I can typically have your glove back to you in a day or two. I have a wide range of colors available for laces you can choose from as well, only having to wait on shipping. Every relace has the option to add a deep cleaning and/or conditioning.

See my page for pictures!

Not comfortable breaking in a brand new $300 glove? I do break-ins as well! Also a fully customizable service, I will break-in your glove exactly how you want it, using techniques safe for the glove (no steaming or oil usage that can weaken it or make it heavy!)

I can also repair tears and worn-through handstalls with leather stitching. Thumb and pinky loops can also be repaired or replaced depending on the model glove.

I am in the Hammond area, but I travel daily to Baton Rouge and sometimes Covington, and I can meet you wherever you need.

Prices in the comments, but every glove is different, so ask me for a definite price for your situation!

Contact me through Facebook messenger, or my phone at (985) 351-3302.

Been bad about posting the gloves I’ve done, but the work hasn’t stopped! Here’s the latest.

With the season ramping up, I thought it would be helpful to share some glove care tips:

1: NEVER just put your glove in your bat bag to be smashed and mishaped by all your equipment.

2: If you have a rainy game or if your glove gets wet, let it air dry and then condition it, NEVER “help” the leather dry with an oven, microwave, blow dryer, etc.

3: If you have an exceptionally dirty game with lots of dirt on your glove, it’s not a bad idea to wipe it off with a DAMP microfiber cloth and condition it. Leaving the dry dirt will dry out the leather.

4: If you tighten your own laces, make sure you don’t over tighten them. New laces come tight because they stretch over time. Old laces are out of stretch, and over tightening them could make them pop when catching a ball.

5: If a lace pops, as tempting as it is you shouldn’t use a hard plastic zip tie as a solution, the laces are leather for a reason: so they fail before the glove’s leather does. Using string or rope can damage the leather of your glove, which is harder and more costly to repair.

Basically, treat your glove as it is: a tool that you need for work. A tool respected and kept in good condition works when you need it, a tool disrespected and unkept may not.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions!

Had to break out the leather stitching kit for my past couple of jobs! This one was definitely a challenge. A full relace with cleaning, conditioning, and a palm patch!

Just had our boys gloves re-laced by Ross Giluso. The guy did a great job. If you're looking for someone local to the Hammond area give him a call. You can also go check out his page Laced Gloves SELA
