Yesterday was a day we will never forget!
Our 6th Annual Recital was filled with so many emotions, but above all else, overwhelming pride! To all of our Spotlight parents and guardians, thank you. Thank you for allowing us to share our love of dance with your children. It is truly an honor to teach them each week, and without your support, we would not get to do what we love every single day. Each and every student who took the stage yesterday is a gift. We are endlessly proud of the dedication, hard work, and commitment they have made to dance, and we hope they continue dancing with us for many years to come.
One of the greatest blessings of owning Spotlight is getting to watch these dancers grow up right before our eyes. We are so incredibly proud of every single student who performed yesterday. We witnessed countless personal best performances, moments of bravery, growth, confidence, and pure joy. There were so many times throughout the day that we found ourselves fighting back tears because of how proud we were. Not only of our dancers, but of what Spotlight has become.
Years ago, we dreamed of creating something different. A place where dancers can come to get the best possible training around, but above all else, a place that feels like home. Yesterday was a reminder that we have built exactly that. Spotlight is so much more than a dance studio, it is a family.
A very special congratulations goes out to our two graduating seniors, Madison and Nila. Watching them take their final bows on the Spotlight stage was one of the most emotional moments of the day. We have had the privilege of teaching them since they first began dancing, and seeing the incredible young women they have become fills us with so much pride. While this chapter is ending, we know their futures are incredibly bright. No matter where life takes them, Spotlight will always be their home.
Thank you to every dancer, family member, teacher, volunteer, and supporter who helped make yesterday so special. Thank you for trusting us with your children’s dance education.
Season 6 was unforgettable, and we can’t wait to see what Season 7 brings!
