We also cleared the downed trees and groomed around Sawyer Mountain for clear and smooth riding into Hampden. Get out and ride, enjoy the trails , and support local businesses such as Dysart’s, Tradewinds, etc. for gas and food along the way!

Getting our trails groomed! Two sections haven’t yet been done; the pipeline along Emerald Drive towards Newburgh, and around Sawyer Mountain from the Travel Dysart’s to I-95. It has been reported that there are several trees down around the mountain so we need to get it cleared before driving the groomer through. Any help is always welcome and appreciated! The sooner it’s clear, the sooner we can groom. Check out these few pictures from the past two nights!

Another project crossed off the list today with the help from Todd Moore and Zach Todd. Got 4 concrete blocks set on all 4 corners of the browns brook bridge. Hopefully this will prevent future issues with the water moving the bridge. Huge thanks go out to the following:
Rod Lane for donating the blocks
Eric Dysart from land and sea storage for delivering the poles used to make the bridge and for loading and unloading the blocks used to secure the bridge.
Jeff Frost for allowing the use of his dump trailer.
As always all land owners that allow the use of their land for our trail system. Without them we would not be able to have the trails that we do.
If anyone would like to join the club, volunteer, or would like more information about our trail systems please reach out to us on Facebook or show up to one of our meetings on the first Monday of every month at 6pm.
