It took quite awhile to find the fish today but persistence payed off for Nick Panzarino with a non stop bite with a pair of slot bass for the family.
We are located on the east end of Long Island’s south shore. My boat is a 28’ Rampage Sportfish with all of the latest electronics & amenities.
The boat is docked at Oakland’s Marina & Restaurant in Hampton Bays, N.Y. literally

Jack Cohen and Al Okeefe show off their limit of slot bass from this morning’s excellent bass bite. Many below slot size and a handful over slot size were released.

Unfortunately, the bass took the day off so we targeted what is left of this season’s fluke. The bite was hardly red hot but Billy Nash came through and save us from getting the skunk. This nice 5 lber is Billy’s personal best and officially the last keeper of the season.

Excellent bite today and Shelley keeps his hot streak intact. Unfortunately, these may be the last keeper fluke of the season. They’re on their way out and the season closes in a few days.

The big question this morning were the bass still here after a week of wind. YES! Artie Shaw is all smiles with the first bass of the trip. The smile disappeared when he learned it was too big and had to be released. 😳☹️

Shelley picked up where he left off before last weekends storm. Mike and Shelley ended up with their limit and then some. A slot bass topped off the catch.
