What. A. Day.
The West Motorsports #12 kart didn’t just show up today—it came to fight. From the moment we rolled onto the track, you could feel it. Practice was strong, but after my crew dialed in a few chassis adjustments, the kart transformed into something fierce.

Heat race time. I launched from P3, the kart felt electric, and even though a rough start cost me, I clawed my way back to finish P3. The stage was set.

Then came the feature.
The sun was blazing, the track was cooking, and every driver knew this one was going to be a war. I started P3, locked in, and the moment the green dropped, the #12 came alive. I surged to P1, carving through the heat and the pressure like it was nothing.

Thirteen laps in, the P2 kart made a move—clean, fast, bold—and slipped past me. But I wasn’t done. Not today. I regrouped, hunted him down, and with five laps to go, I took back P1 and refused to let it go. Every corner, every straightaway, every heartbeat was a battle, but the #12 kart held strong all the way to the checkered flag.

Victory. Earned.
And none of it happens without my family, my crew, and my sponsors. Their support, their sweat, their belief—that’s what makes days like this possible.

🛑 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 at the back gate, show your wristband, then proceed 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘺 through the pit area.
🔷 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒: We highly encourage purchasing your own transponder - we have a limited number available at the track. The one pictured in the comments will 𝒏𝒐𝒕 work with our system.
🚨Please keep the track entrance/exit area 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓 at all times. We have plenty of grid space for dropping karts.
🚨Your timeliness to the grid makes an impact. Please help us keep the flow going by making your way to the grid when your class is called.

Race fans — what a season opener on Mother's Day... came out flying, grabbed the lead, and were looking strong until the motor started overheating in the heat race. Even with that, the crew said “send it,” so that’s exactly what I did in the feature.

By lap 8 the motor started giving up and I began losing some power, but I fought it to the end and still brought home a 5th‑place finish. Tons of great racing all day, and we’re already wrenching so we can come back even stronger next weekend.

📝 Membership paperwork is available on the HRKC website, or at the window, and can be turned in at the window or directly to Amanda at the back gate as you enter the pit area.
💲Membership fees are $𝟒𝟎 before the first kart hits the track today, $𝟓𝟎 any time after. You 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 be a member to receive year-end awards.

Race day is the 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 day! We can't wait to see everyone this weekend!

We can't wait to see everyone on Sunday!

Another race in the books, and with it, another season wrapped up. The kart had good speed today, but not quite enough to take the win—bringing home a solid 2nd place finish. That result also locked me into 2nd place in the season points standings.

It’s been a challenging but rewarding year on track, filled with ups and downs, but overall an experience I truly enjoyed. None of it would have been possible without the incredible support of my family, crew, sponsors, and all the fans who’ve been behind me every step of the way.

I’ll be taking a short break to recharge, but soon it’ll be time to start preparing and building for next season. The work never stops, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead.
