Dear Members,
The City of Hampton will begin demolition of the former Social Services building located adjacent to the Hampton Family YMCA on Tuesday, October 6.

We want to assure you that this work is not expected to impact YMCA operations, programs, facility access, or member services. The Hampton Family YMCA will remain open and operate on its regular schedule throughout the project.

You may notice construction activity or occasional noise in the area, but no disruptions to member use of the facility are anticipated.
We appreciate your patience and understanding and will share updates as needed.

Thank you for being a valued member of the YMCA.

At the Y, we prevent drowning. Our Second Grade Learn to Swim program teaches water safety skills to thousands of children every year. We are looking for help to ensure every child has access to these skills. Volunteer today at https://www.ymcavp.org/about/volunteer/aquatics-volunteer.
