We are very excited for the 2026 Sunbelt Rentals Legends and Bandolero All Star Race on Friday, February 20th!

Please note a few important reminders:

⭐️ Race registration will now be completed through PitPay instead of the Legends Shop.

⭐️ Credential pickup will take place the day of the event at the main tunnel, not at the credentials building.

The driving school this weekend will be moved from Saturday to Sunday.

Closing out another incredible year at EchoPark Speedway! Thank you to every driver, family, and fan who made 2025 unforgettable! 🤩

After posting the schedule last week, several drivers and crew members asked why we chose to set the lineup by points instead of qualifying. The reason is that the infield road course does not have a functioning timing loop, so we’re unable to use the electronic timing and scoring system. To score the event, we will be relying on hand scorers—something we already do each race as a backup and have done for the past 26 years.

However, based on the feedback we received, we have developed a solution that will allow us to line up drivers by lap times rather than championship points. After the first practice session, our hand scorers will begin randomly selecting cars and recording their lap times using stopwatches for two laps during the second and third practice sessions. By the end of practice, every car will have at least one recorded lap time, and those times will be used to set the lineups.

We recognize this is not the ideal method for recording lap times, but it is the most effective option available given the limitations of the infield road course. The Race Director will provide more details about the process during the drivers meeting on Saturday. We look forward to a great day of racing and to honoring our champions at Saturday’s banquet.
