Tribute to big Bob Crist Sr. This magazine article goes back to 1965. Dad's home made gym was originally built from a carport that he closed in. As time went by he expanded the gyms foot print to have room for 3 Olympic platforms and a power-rack. Many friends and lifters helped build things and also helped with gym related projects, Our family thanks you with all our hearts for the hard work that you contributed. We created so many memories here at 19 Barnes Ct. Thanks 🙏👍 Dad for all your hard work and leadership, you set the bar high (4 Hall of Fames). On your birthday today just saying I miss you and Mom dearly. Love and gratitude to Mom & Dad and all the friendly folks that stopped in and lifted or competed at our house.

More input from the glory day's. Matt Russell with the National Championship Colorado Buffalo's trained with me for 2 Summers. His Sr Season was quite accomplished, not only did Colorado finish #1 and win their bowl game, He was able to land the Dick Butkis award for college's best linebacker. His legs were quite strong as he squatted 600 lbs that last summer. He was around 6' 2" and 245lbs. Today he's with the Bronco's for scouting.
