Henry County Schools Community Members,
This message is to let you know that after consultation with local emergency management agency officials and weather experts, Henry County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, December 11 due to predicted black ice on county roadways. This means that all regularly scheduled bus routes, dropoffs, and school start times will be delayed by exactly two hours. All food services will still be provided to students tomorrow.
The end of the day will operate on a regular dismissal schedule.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure the safety of our 42,000 students and 5,000 employees.
