A huge day for Hanahan Cross Country at today’s Cobra Cross Country Invitational!

👏 Colby DeLamielleure led the girls with an incredible 4th-place overall finish, followed by Jude Ayers in 7th — out of 259 runners! 😳

🔥 The Girls Team finished 4th out of 17 teams!

👏 Bennett Pohlman led the way for the boys team!

🎉🧡💙 IT’S COACH JOSEPH’S BIRTHDAY! 💙🧡🎉

Today we’re celebrating someone who gives so much of herself to Hanahan High School and our 500+ student athletes — Athletic Director and Assistant Principal “Coach” Kim Joseph! 🦅

If you know Coach Joseph, you know she’s ALL IN for our Hawks. She works countless 15+ hour days, attends more sporting events than we can keep track of, and is one of the biggest cheerleaders for every team and every athlete at HHS. 📣

She’s also an incredible supporter of the Booster Club, and so much of what we’re able to do for our student athletes is possible because of her support and partnership.

So today, it’s our turn to cheer for HER! 🎂🎉

🏊‍♂️ THE HAWKS MADE SOME SERIOUS WAVES TUESDAY NIGHT! 🦅🧡💙

Our swimmers went up against a loaded field of Bishop England, Ashley Ridge, Summerville, Phillip Simmons, and Stall — and delivered some HUGE performances!

🔥 Ellis Wilson raced to a 2ND PLACE finish in the 200 Freestyle! 🥈

🔥 Then came back and grabbed 4TH PLACE in the 100 Backstroke!

🔥 Alex Swetckie powered his way to 3RD PLACE in the 500 Freestyle! 🥉

🔥 And added another TOP 10 finish, taking 8th in the 100 Backstroke!

Four Top 10 finishes. Two podium finishes. One great night for HANAHAN SWIMMING! 🧡💙
