The Surfer's Journal (N°35.3) contains a main article about Nick Beck, surfer emeritus, and inventor of the Holopuni Hawaiian sailing canoe. An addendum by Dave Parmenter captures in more details leg 4 of the Holopuni Hawaiian Voyage '25 (Maui to Moloka'i) and details of the Holopuni sailing canoe. Holopuni Hawaiian Voyage '25, Moloka'i: The crews take advantage of an extended layover on Moloka'i to explore the island and tend to canoe maintenance.

Holopuni Hawaiian Voyage '25, Leg 4: Honokahua, Maui to Kepuhi, Molokai.
The most spectacular leg of our voyage is the sail along the north coast of Molokai. Towering cliffs and waterfalls join the sea to the sky. A good ENE wind along with plenty of bumps add up to over 34 nautical miles of surf.
