It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that Mike passed away January 5, 2020, from pareatic cancer. There will be no furtther updates of pictures or race results from this site. I know he enjoyed tremendous pleasure from doing this, and he had great respect and admiration for those who paddled. Mahalo to all.

To all our followers and friends of HIOP,

Regretfully I must take a long term hiatis from following, keeping up with, and posting photos, Video,, and results of our Hawaiʻi Island High School paddling. Hopefully, this hiatis will not include the Moku O Hawaiʻi season as well.

Hopefully too, FB will allow this site to remain up for viewing. As always feel free to download any of your favorite photos.
