Good Morning, Keystone Rod & Gun Club Members!
We have teamed up with Chico Outdoors for tomorrow's Youth Pheasant Hunt, and we are looking forward to a great day of hunting, fellowship, and introducing the next generation of sportsmen and women to the outdoors!
We have some exciting activities planned for our junior hunters, including a FREE breakfast, stocked birds, and a chance to win a brand-new sh***un!
🦃 YOUTH HUNT DETAILS
Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026
Free Breakfast: 9:00 AM for all participating youth hunters
Bird Stocking: 20 pheasants and 20 chukars will be released while the kids enjoy breakfast.
Registration: Junior hunters may sign in until 2:00 PM.
Cost: FREE for participating youth hunters!
We understand that many families have sports, school activities, and other commitments on Saturday mornings. That is why we are keeping registration open until 2:00 PM, giving more young hunters an opportunity to participate and enjoy the experience.
🎉 FREE YOUTH SH***UN GIVEAWAY!
Every junior hunter who participates will receive one FREE raffle ticket for a chance to win a:
BRAND-NEW MOSSBERG 20-GAUGE YOUTH MODEL SH***UN!
The winning ticket will be drawn LIVE on our club's page at 5:00 PM tomorrow!
We specifically selected this sh***un because it is an excellent fi***rm for a young hunter to learn with and grow into. Its compatibility with appropriate Mossberg 500 replacement barrels provides flexibility as the young hunter gets older and gains experience.
The winning youth hunter's parent or legal guardian will need to coordinate with Jim Bell at (724) 836-1646 to arrange the fi***rm transfer and complete all required paperwork, subject to applicable laws and eligibility requirements.
🙋 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – HELP MAKE THIS DAY SPECIAL!
We are currently expecting approximately 10–15 young hunters, and we could certainly use some additional help to make this event a success!
If you have some free time tomorrow, we would greatly appreciate assistance with:
Stocking pheasants and chukars before the hunt.
Accompanying junior hunters in the field to provide guidance and encouragement.
Bringing a well-trained bird dog to help locate and flush birds.
Helping ensure that everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
You do not have to spend the entire day helping. Even an hour or two of your time can make a tremendous difference!
Our youth hunting program is about much more than harvesting birds. It is about teaching fi***rm safety, responsible hunting practices, sportsmanship, respect for wildlife, and creating memories that these young hunters will carry with them for years to come.
As a club, we have a responsibility to introduce young people to the hunting traditions that so many of us grew up enjoying. Programs like this are an investment in the future of hunting, conservation, and Keystone Rod & Gun Club itself.
I want to personally thank everyone who has already volunteered, helped prepare for this event, or contributed to making it possible. Your continued support is what allows our club to provide opportunities like this for the next generation.
Let's come together and make tomorrow a day these kids won't forget!
Thank you all for your continued support and dedication to our club.
