All Oswego Valley ATV trails are closed for the season. Thanks to all our members and supporters for keeping us going. We would like to thank Dennis Bell Thomas Casselman and the wonderful June, for volunteering their time today in helping us take down trail signs, putting up trail closure signs and pulling posts. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time this year. We never could have accomplished everything that was done for our trails without you.

EDIT: To help people understand why this happened and when. In July of this year, the State DEC incorporated the 7F WMU into the early doe season, which affects our trail system starting Sept. 12th. In accordance to our contract with Cayuga County, it states authorization"from April 15,2026 to the opening day of deer season 2026". Hope this helps explain our reasons.

We have started pulling stakes and signs to CLOSE a wonderful atv riding season . We have really tried to make the trails safe and easier access with parking challenges this year . We conquered 100’s of trees . We opened old trails we lost and new trails . We gained land owners trust back . We repaired bridges . We supported local businesses and the economy. We met many new members along the trail . We organized an awesome Trail maintenance crew who usually tackled the trees with in an hour of a report . We were slow on the mowing this year and mowed 95.% of what is able to be mowed . We recognized our struggle to keep up with the mowing and just recently purchased an awesome mower the will help with the mowing process next season . Our board had many meetings over last winter behind the scenes recognizing our weakness and thinking on how to improve them and brainstorm ways to make this system awesome . A lot we conquered and some are still on the table to be accomplished.

We thank you for taking care , pride and the safety of our trail seriously.
We thank you for supporting our local towns and villages .

Due to an early hunting season this year we will officially close the trails at dusk on September 11th.

Please note, when riding any and all club trails you must adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by New York State and the ATV club. Thank you. We have had a few issues with having passengers on machines that are not designed for multiple riders. Thank you for following the rules and supporting our club!

Come support our local Veterans go inside buy some drinks and some chips . Pack a dinner after going in and buying your beverage and snack join us at the pavilion for some Oswego valley atv community talks and laughs . Come share with us where else you ride , what you would like to see done with our trails .

Come see all the work on the way up from Cato that was done over the weekend. When you turn onto the legion trail you’re gonna be amazed on what we did there .

Come meet everyone and win a t shirt , buy some merch and have a shot at the 50/50 .

Thanks for the help today took an eight hour day that Clark M S and I had the other day and made it into 2 hour day .More trail work done on Oswego Valley ATV Club trails. Cato end again today . Another 30-40 ton of stone layered down on the rail bed . When we have the help and equipment things happen fast . Thanks also to my son David Michael for loaning the club his dump trailer . Garth Neild brought a tractor from home as did Jason Lloyd. Weston Hodgson spent the morning out with a blade knocking down the high areas with his tractor then jumped on the club tractor to move stone . Thanks again everyone. Probably over 120 tons of fill was laid out on the trail this week between the legion trail and Cato rail bed area .
