Update on the golf outing.

All reasonable efforts will be made to get the outing in Saturday. Any decision to postpone or Cancel will not be made until Saturday morning.

Things are being done to make the outing as enjoyable as possible.

Things to consider bringing. A garbage bag to cover your clubs. A towel to dry off your cart seat in case of rain delay. We will have several canopies out on the course to escape a sudden down pour should 1 happen.

i did get a bit of hope from this morning's weather. As it appears the worst of it is shifting to the south and herd keywords like "not as bad'. Its still not the most desired weather for a golf outing.

Biscuits & Gravy is still going on from 7:45am-8:45am at the Big 9. Were still gonna give away all our door prizes and Still gonna offer a hot dog and chips lunch no matter what.

The 2nd Annual Big 9 golf Outing Still has 3 openings. Currently have 33 of 36 teams . $80 deposit saves your spot. Venmo, Cash App accepted. As well as check or cash.

The deadline to enter the Team Name contest or Change your team name is Sept. 16th. It is not mandatory but, will be giving out a cash prize for it.

Hello, Big 9 Outing Golfer participants and interested participants.

I have been brain storming ways to spread the wealth a little better this year as opposed to last year. What i've come up with is.

We will still have the competitive Men's and Mixed divisions.

We will be adding a Senior division and a Fun division.

Senior division: Will be open for any team with a total age of 250 or more. Example, 3 people age 70 and 1 at age 40 will qualify for this division. Any male 64 or younger will still be required to hit from the mens tees.

Fun Division: Will have ways for people to win that will be top secret until after the Outing. Could be best dressed, most pars or bogeys, highest or lowest score on a certain hole. Could be 4th best total score or highest total score. Could be all the above or none of the above. Can't tell you or it would ruin the fun.

You will be able to decide which division your team plays in day of Outing.

Prizes will be spread out based on amount of entries in each division.

Also keep in mind. We give back between 85-90% of what we take in for this outing. 100% of the money we do take in goes towards things like our Shed Hunt, Hooked on Fishing, Hunters Safety Classes, Breakfast with Santa or any of the many great things our club does.

Cash or check Payments can be made this week at the Big 9 Monday Tomorrow August 10th & Tuesday August 11th between 3:30pm & 5:30pm, Wednesday August 12th from 6pm-6:45pm sharp. Thursday August 13th from 6-8pm

Saturday August 15thi will be there for a time frame not yet determined.

I am also available Monday-Friday 8am-2:30pm in Homer.
