It's that time of the month! During this time I practice yin yoga. Here I'm doing a forward fold. Using two pillows I can rest in a passive pose for as long as I want, I usually hold here for about 5 mins before moving to my next pose. In this pose you can just relax and release to reduce stress and bring calm as peace to you.

My favorite everyday morning stretch for your hamstrings. 🦵🏾
Get into cat-cow position and stretch out one leg towards the back of you with your toes on the ground. Stay here for a minute and then switch sides. You can rock your foot back and forth for an extra stretch.

Lately I've been drawn to practice restorative yoga more and more. It's just what I need in the mornings when I practice. Simply out, restorative yoga is a restful type of yoga that helps to relax your body. Poses are held for a longer amount of time, between 5 and 20 minutes. This type of practice uses props to support your body .
Here I am in a restorative reclined butterfly or supta Baddha konasana.
