PNA Director of Government Affairs Jan Murphy and Director of Marketing and Membership Jane Hungarter recently visited the staff of TheBurg, a free monthly print publication that also provides daily online coverage of the greater Harrisburg region.
This year, TheBurg launched a new initiative in partnership with The Foundation for Enhancing Communities to support Partners in Purpose, a community-centered program designed to elevate the stories of local nonprofits making a difference in Dauphin and Cumberland counties.
Through the program, a community-based committee selected four local nonprofits to be featured for in-depth stories published in TheBurg's print and digital editions.
Written by TheBurg staff journalists, the articles highlight the organizations’ missions, impact and contributions to the community, each reaching more than 20,000 readers across Southcentral Pennsylvania.

Members are encouraged to begin identifying and submitting high-resolution photos for consideration.
