🎃 Rain or shine, the show must go on! 💀🔫

Our Halloween 2-Gun 2-Man Team Match was a success, despite Mother Nature doing her best to wash us out! 🌧️

A HUGE thank you to our incredible stage designers, who adapted on the fly and reworked the stages with steel targets to keep the match running when the rain threatened to turn our cardboard targets into mush! 👏

And of course, thank you to all the competitors, volunteers, and match staff who braved the weather to make this event such a fun one!

Another Walt Wise Memorial Police Pistol Match is in the books! 🎯

The 67th Annual Walter Wise Memorial Police Pistol Match brought 68 shooters from four states to HH&A on September 19–20 for a full weekend of competition, camaraderie, and some seriously impressive shooting.

This year’s match included Rim Fire and Center Fire competition, a Commemorative Revolver Centerfire Match, and the Top Gun Rimfire Match.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners — and especially to Cash Colleton and Dave Cooper, who each set new standing records during the weekend.

A huge thank-you goes to everyone who traveled to shoot with us, the many volunteers who helped make the weekend possible, and Academy Sports + Outdoors for supporting this year’s match as a sponsor. From setup and registration to scoring, safety, meals, awards, and teardown, it truly takes a team to make an event like Walt Wise happen.

We’re already looking forward to next year!

🚨 DATE UPDATE: CPR/AED/First Aid Training is now Sunday, November 1!

HHA’s upcoming CPR/AED/First Aid training through The Peyton Walker Foundation has been rescheduled to Sunday, November 1 from 2–6 PM.

The class is $25 per person and includes a two-year CPR/AED/First Aid certification for adults and children upon completion.

If you already registered, Marianne will be reaching out to confirm the new date still works for you.

Join us Saturday, October 17, for a hearty meal featuring pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, peas, gravy, rolls, a beverage, and dessert. Dinner will be served from 3:30–5:00 PM, or until sold out, and the public is welcome.

Suggested donation: $14

Grab your partner and your costume — the HH&A Halloween 2-Gun Team Match is back! 🎃

Join us next Sunday, October 11 for a 2-man team match featuring four stages of r***e and pistol, targets from 5 to 100 yards, and a little extra incentive to fully commit to the Halloween spirit.

👻 Costume bonus: Each teammate can earn a 5-second bonus per stage when both team members shoot the stage in their full approved costumes.

Registration opens: 8:00 AM
Safety briefing: 8:30 AM
Match begins: 9:00 AM
$25 per shooter / $50 per team
Open to the public

Don’t have a partner yet? You can still register and use Squad 5 to connect with another shooter — or show up and we’ll help pair teams.

Plan for at least 150 rounds of handgun ammo and 150 rounds of r***e ammo. All am******on must be non-magnetic.

Come ready to shoot, have some fun, and prove your costume can survive a 2-Gun stage. 🎃👻

HHA is hosting a CPR/AED/First Aid training session through The Peyton Walker Foundation. Whether you’re renewing your certification or learning these lifesaving skills for the first time, this is a great opportunity to be better prepared when every second counts.

Fall is officially here, and there’s plenty happening around the club this month — from competitive shooting and the return of seasonal leagues to Ladies’ Night, our Pork & Sauerkraut Dinner, CPR/AED training, and more.

Whether you’re looking to get some rounds downrange, learn something new, or just spend some time with the HH&A community, we hope to see you at the club this October!

One more walk before we call it a season! 🌲🎯

Woods Walk is a relaxed, outdoor handgun match that takes shooters through a series of wooded shooting stations, testing accuracy on a variety of targets along the course. It’s a fun way to get outside, enjoy some friendly competition, and put your skills to work in a different kind of setting.

Our final Woods Walk of 2026 is coming up this Sunday—come help us close out the season!

🎯 Attention Youth Archers!

🏹 Tomorrow’s Youth Archery class has been rescheduled to next Sunday due to health reasons for our instructor. She wants to keep everyone safe to ensure a fun time is had in class! A good note for this tho is it gives everyone an extra week to sign up your kiddos!

Ages 8-17!

Pre Registration is required even for former participants! We can’t wait to see you there!
