🏛️ STATE CHAMPIONS HONORED IN HARRISBURG ⚽️

In celebration of our PIAA state championship, our team traveled to Harrisburg yesterday for a memorable day at the State Capitol. We had the opportunity to meet with state leaders, tour the Capitol, and celebrate our historic season together.

📸 Photo 1: Our team is pictured inside the State Capitol with Rep. Bridget M Kosierowski and David H. Brogan, Parliamentarian for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, who joined us as we received an official House citation recognizing our state championship.

In addition, State Senator Marty Flynn () presented each of our players with an individual Senate proclamation honoring this achievement.

We also appreciated the opportunity to meet with Pennsylvania State Rep. Jim Haddock, spending time talking with him about our season, the championship run, and the support of our local community.

Lastly, we are thankful to Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro for sharing a congratulatory video message at our banquet last weekend, a special touch that meant a lot to our program.

Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible and for celebrating our team at the state level.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (Nov. 10–16): Billy Johnson

Join us in a belated, but well-deserved, congratulations to junior goalkeeper Billy Johnson, who was named the Times-Tribune Athlete of the Week (Nov. 10–16)!

Billy delivered two outstanding postseason performances on the biggest stage — recording 10 saves in a 2–0 win over District 1 champion Harriton in the PIAA 3A Semifinal, and adding 8 more saves in the 2–0 State Championship victory over District 3 champion Conrad Weiser.

His clutch play helped the Comets complete a historic postseason, finishing with seven straight shutouts, 18 clean sheets, and the first PIAA State Title in program history — and the first for District 2 since 2012.
