Congratulations to our season award winners! - Coach’s Award for his all around presence on and off the ice, - Defensive Player of the Year as the rock of the pk and blueline corps, .r1321 - Rookie of the Year for being an absolute dog day in and day out, Scholar Athlete Award as a premier student in the classroom, and - Iron Man Award for playing in every game in his four year tenure, and the most games played in PSC history with 107 💪

Please welcome to the Paul Smith’s College men’s hockey team! Eagan joins the Bobcats from where he compiled a 2.48 GAA and a .915 save% as the starting goaltender for the Spartans. He was 26-12 with Queensbury and accumulated 1,165 saves over his career with 2,222 minutes played. Eagan will be majoring in Fisheries & Wildlife Sciences and enjoys fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking, and hanging out with friends. Fun fact - he used to live in Utah. Congrats, Eagan!

Closing out this week’s commitments is from Buffalo, NY. Dan contributed a healthy amount of assists (11) for the St. Joe’s Marauders in the competitive NYS Catholic HS Hockey League while finishing #3 overall in the state rankings. He is undeclared for the upcoming year but finds a good fit at PSC as he enjoys anything having to do with the outdoors. Fun fact - Dan is a Jr., being named after his father, Daniel Laughlin Sr.

Give it up for from Fairhaven, MA! Shane joins the Bobcats after having played for Bishop Stang in the competitive MIAA where he contributed three assists on the blueline for the Aggies. The Natural Resource Conservation Mgmt major enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time out on the ocean. Fun fact - Shane was part of a Blanding’s turtle release that released over 80 headstarted turtles into the wild. Congratulations, and welcome to Smitty Nation!

Joining the team next season is from Washingtonville, NY. The defenseman played for Washingtonville High and the Westport Jr Black Knights where he played major minutes. The business major enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends. Fun fact - Tyler has been playing hockey since he was five years old. Congratulations!

The right winger will be majoring in Fisheries & Wildlife Sciences and enjoys hiking, gaming, and computer science. Fun fact - Brody was a Make-A-Wish Foundation recipient. Our next committed athlete for the 2026 incoming class is Kristian Barron from Plainfield, IL. Kristian had 15 goals and 12 assists in 38 games for the Plainfield Predators last season. The big, physical center plays the game like a true power forward and brings some size to the Bobcats next season. He’ll be majoring in Sports Mgmt and enjoys hanging with friends, going to the gym, snowboarding, and hiking. Fun fact - Kristian is a Zamboni driver! Congratulations, and welcome to smitty nation!

Next up is Alex McCabe from Waterbury, VT! Alex let his team to a VT high school hockey Division 2 state championship for the Harwood Highlanders this past season while posting a 2.86 GAA and .876 save%. The Fisheries & Wildlife Mgmt major enjoys fishing and looks to add more depth to the goalie corps for the Bobcats. Fun fact - Alex was born in St. Louis, MO. Congratulations!

We start this week off with one of the premier players in the PIHL, Finn Conlon from Beaver Falls, PA. The talented forward led his Blackhawk HS team in points, contributing 19 goals and 15 assists in 20 games for the Cougars. He’ll be majoring in Psychology and enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, fishing, and ping pong. Fun fact - Finn also plays baseball. Congratulations, and welcome to the Bobcats!
