🎄It was "Christmas in the City" for some of our dancers and their families as they traveled to NYC this past Sunday! The day started with a dance workshop with a former Rockette, where the dancers learned some of the Rockette's signature kickline steps, as well as learned what its like to audition to be a Rockette. They then spent the afternoon getting a behind-the-scenes look at Radio City Music Hall where they learned about the history and decor of the music hall, viewed rehearsal space and the costume shop, and experienced a meet-and-greet with a Rockette. The dancers and their families then watched The Christmas Spectacular show and ended the day with dinner at Hard Rock Cafe! 🎄

We are excited to announce that Christine Negherbon, an award-winning choreographer, master teaching artist, and actress, and Joe Abraham, a Broadway and film/television performer and actor, will be presenting two upbeat and fun master classes at the Susquehanna Dance Academy this Wednesday, July 20th. Please see below for specific class times. Both workshops are designed for students dancing at the intermediate/advanced level. Cost is just $30 per 90-minute class, or $55 for both classes. They assist the students in getting their costumes on, help the dancers get to the stage on time, position the dancers on stage, calm nerves, wipe away tears, and encourage our dancers to do their best. Their job is not an easy one, and we are appreciative of all they do to make the show a success!
