Today I went on a side quest and got licensed to teach Zumba! What I used to think was just a fun cardio dance workout is actually a very intentionally structured practice.
My favorite thing about the Zumba format is that it’s music driven, which is how I naturally create my other types of classes. I learned so much about choreography, musicality, and how it incorporates with achieving optimal fitness. I had the most amazing instructor (Erick Santana) and danced my butt off 😜

Burning to the ground previous choices and stepping into a new, aligned life . I imagine this song fitting so well into an empowering vinyasa flow 🩵

*Vulnerability post
Once again I’m navigating yet another tower moment and I courageously walk into it. I walk into in knowing it’s not going to be easy but with relief because something new will be on the other side. Something greater than what I can even imagine.
I don’t want to abandon this project as we’re just being started, and I won’t. But this next phase will require me to step back some.

Just added to the studio! 💻
These classes focus on improving alignment, and preventing injury by properly warming up.
Mobility exercises are great as a warm up or a standalone practice to ease stiffness over time and improve range of motion.
I have a few more classes coming in the beginner series along with some fitness classes!
