🏀 Important Harrison Jump Start Basketball update!

Regular registration has been extended through Monday, 9/21, and our first league day will now be Saturday, 9/26. This gives players finishing other fall sports more time to join us while allowing additional time to round out team rosters.

Jump Start is open to Kindergarten through 3rd-grade boys and girls, ages 5–10. Regular registration is $75 through Monday, 9/21.

Already registered? Your player’s registration remains active, and no action is required. Team assignments and the complete schedule will be released Tuesday, 9/22.

Need-based scholarships are available for families who may need help covering the cost of registration. Scholarships are not guaranteed and are awarded based on eligibility and available funding.

🏀 What makes Jump Start Basketball different?

Instruction does not stop when the game begins.

Each game slot starts with a short practice led by Jump Start staff. Players then receive real-time instruction as they use what they learned during gameplay.

Jump Start is designed for all skill levels. Age-appropriate rules and equal participation help players learn and develop while maintaining game flow and keeping games competitive.

🏀 Jump Start Basketball is BACK in Harrison for Fall 2026! 🏀

We’re gearing up for another season of skill-building, competition and fun for young players ready to start their basketball journey the right way.

Jump Start is a competitive teaching league for Kindergarten through 3rd-grade boys and girls, ages 5–9. Players represent their school districts, compete in their school colors and receive hands-on instruction throughout every league day.

📅 League Dates: September 19, September 26, October 3, October 10, October 17 and October 24

📍 Harrison School Gyms

What to Expect:

🔹 Two game slots each league day
🔹 Short instructional practice before each game instead of weekday practices
🔹 Weekly skill focus reinforced during practices and games
🔹 On-court instruction throughout every game
🔹 Age-appropriate rules and officiated games
🔹 Jersey included—no additional gear required
