Do you need to log some community volunteer hours?? 😁

We need help!! Prep, decorate, and get Historic Downtown Hartselle ready for the Depot Days festival

We're looking for community members to help and have several volunteer opportunities available during Depot Days itself, from helping with vendors and activities to supporting different areas throughout the festival.

Whether you can give an hour, a morning, or help on festival day, every extra set of hands makes a difference!

📧 Interested in volunteering? Email: [email protected] and we’ll get you connected with an opportunity that works for you.

It takes a community to make Depot Days happen — and we’d love to have you be part of the crew! 🚂❤️

What can you plant in the garden in August? More than you might think!
As summer crops begin to wind down, it is time to start preparing for fall gardening. Beans, broccoli, cabbage, collards, kale, lettuce, radishes, turnips, and other vegetables can still be planted, depending on your location in Alabama. Your lawn and landscape also need attention this month, especially when it comes to watering and monitoring for insects and diseases.
