Proving people wrong is something that i let go of a few years back. To this day, I still see people say that hate from others fuels them, or they thank their haters for giving them enough fuel to push them to a certain achievement. Let me tell you personally, as someone who did that for almost 40 years, that's not the move. You'll never get the "oh, you were right" moment that you aimed for from your doubters and disbelievers. And there will still be an unfilled void because part of the goal wasn't fully based on you. A hater will always be a hater, and a doubter will always be a doubter. You can put years into something trying to prove them wrong, all to end up with your doubter finding something new to doubt about you. Achieve goals for YOU, please. Prove yourself right instead of proving others wrong. It's an absolute waste of time and life proving anything to anyone else except self. And the goals that you achieve with YOU as the reason make the most meaningful impact.
