Please remember for baby wildlife, alone does not mean abandoned!! π£π¦πΏ
It's baby animal season! Here are a few helpful tips in case you find a young animal that seems abandon. π’π
The best chance for an animal's survival is in the wild. The instinct to help is good, but it's important to have the correct information. When in doubt, contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. π

Help Shape Your Parks! πΏπ³
Every five years, our Parks and Recreation department develops a Master Plan that establishes goals and priorities to guide department decisions over the next five years.
Part of this process involves gathering public input. We ask that you take a few minutes to complete our community survey. Your responses will remain anonymous and will help shape the future of our parks, facilities, and special events!
View and complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WC2V5HS
We will also hold three public input sessions throughout the summer for anyone who would like to attend. All three sessions will be held at 6:00 pm on the following days:
β’ Thursday, July 9 at Central Park Pavilion
β’ Thursday, July 30 at Harris Nature Center
β’ Thursday, August 13 at Towner Road Park
More information about these events can be found at www.meridian.mi.us/events. For questions, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 517.853.4600 or [email protected].
