Another great weekend for the BAMF family! 💪🤼

Our BAMF Ladies 16U competed at the Firebird Tournament in Oklahoma this weekend, finishing 4-2 and placing 9th in a tough field. I couldn’t be more proud of how these young ladies competed. They fought hard, showed grit, and never backed down.

We’re proud… but we’re not satisfied. This only fuels the fire. We’re hungrier than ever, and we’ll be back even better.

Congratulations as well to our Nebraska 7v7 All-Star Team, who went 3-1 and finished in 3rd place! Another outstanding performance by a talented group of wrestlers.

The work continues. Keep your head down, stay hungry, and trust the process.

June marks the end of an era.

At the end of this month, Hastings Wrestling Academy will officially close its doors. What started as a crazy dream five years ago turned into something I could have never imagined.

Over those five years, HWA created countless opportunities for young ladies across the Midwest. Together we accomplished so much:
🥇 3 Dual State Championships
🥉 2 Third-Place Dual State finishes
🏆 Numerous AAU & NEUSA State Champions
🇺🇸 Numerous National Team and Individual Champions

I’ve never been afraid to do things my own way, and along the way we’ve built something truly special. None of it would have been possible without the incredible wrestlers, parents, coaches, and supporters who believed in the vision. Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of your wrestling journey. It has meant more than you’ll ever know.

I’ll be honest…it’s heartbreaking to close this chapter.

But this isn’t the end.

When one door closes, another opens.

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be moving to Island Girls Wrestling Club in Grand Island, where I’ll be leading the PreK-8th grade girls program. Even better, the monthly cost will be just $35, making high-level girls wrestling more affordable than ever.

This will also become the new home of the BAMF National Team, and I truly believe this next chapter is going to be even bigger and better.

If you’re in the Hastings area, don’t let the drive stop you—we’ll have carpooling available from Hastings to Grand Island for every practice.

Thank you, HWA, for an unforgettable five years.

Now it’s time to build something even greater.

Girls competed at Freestyle state today. Not bad for just getting warmed up to freestyle. A lot more coming up. Congratulations to Peyton, Gracie and Zeniah for qualifying for Fargo and Ainslee, Makenzie and Victoria for qualifying for Nebraska Elementary National teams!!!!

Great day yesterday at Huskerland state. We took 9 wrestlers and had multiple placers, champions and champ of champs. We ended up as Class B runner ups!!! I’m extremely proud of our little team. We don’t have the numbers but we make up for that with Quality!!!!
