Congratulations to our UM High School Wrestlers for being recognized for the District 1 Academic All Star Team. Getting it done on the mat and in the classroom!

UMWC would like to send a strong congratulations to several wrestlers who qualified for PIAA AAA Southeast Regionals by placing in the District 1 North qualifier, at Quakertown, yesterday. Not an easy feat considering the level of competition at this tournament.

🔥 UMWC at ICWL Championships 🔥

Many of our wrestlers competed in the ICWL Championship Novice & Open Tournament this weekend. The competition was strong, we are incredibly proud of the grit they showed!

Placing at ICWL is no small feat. We are proud of ALL of our wrestlers who stepped on the mat! 💪🤼‍♂️

The Upper Moreland High School Wrestling team just captured the SOL Freedom League Tournament Championship and secured the overall league title! An incredible accomplishment! 🤼‍♂️💪

We’re especially proud to see so many former club wrestlers:
Brayden Coats, Michael Skarabahaty, Ricky Evanson, Jesse McLaughlin, Cooper Locke, Colin Murray, Jimmy Murray, Keaton Madley, Noah Fuchs, and Aiden Waskovich.

Today we had the opportunity to recognize a special group — our 8th graders, wrestling their final match with UMWC as they prepare to move on to high school.

Many of these kids have been part of the UMWC family since primary school. We’ve watched them learn their first stance, wrestle their first match, and grow into strong athletes and teammates.

They’ve represented this program with pride, and while UMWC helped lay the foundation, what they’ve built will carry them far beyond this mat.

To our 8th graders…THANK YOU! We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see all your success ahead.

Great Win By UM Bears over Cheltenham Last night 34-33. Very exciting and very loud match!

The UMWC would like to acknowledge the accomplishments of Ryan Solomon of Abington, having achieved 100 WINS. Former UMWC Wrestler and Willow Grove Football Player, Ryan has immersed himself into Wrestling over the past couple years, competing at Fargo and Super 32 while training at elite level clubs like Team Apache Wrestling and Steller. Great Wrestler, Great Student and Outstanding Young man. You will do great things Ryan.
