Dyed and stabilized cypress. 🔵

When I got this cypress from Doug Stone, I knew it was going to turn into something cool. I think this one turned out even better than I had pictured.

That blue really brought this piece to life, and the grain still shows through beautifully. Another one I’m pretty proud of coming out of the Cat Daddy’s shop.

Stabilized box elder getting its first coat of finish, and this one has a little bit of everything hiding in it—blue, teal, green, gold, and some crazy figure.

Planning on green slate over glass for this one. I think it’s going to tie the whole thing together.

Stabilized buckeye burl getting its first coat of Tallahassee Tung Oil . This is always one of my favorite parts of a build — you never really know what you’ve got until that oil hits it.

This one ought to be a good one. 🦃

A little different than what y’all are used to seeing from me…

I’ve got some big ideas for this magnolia pot. Being Mississippi’s state tree, it only seemed right to build something around home.

Glass over wood, with a few Mississippi touches that I think are going to make this one pretty special.

Might just be the beginning of a new “Home Series.”

And of course… Mississippi Squirrel Revival had to be playing in the background. 😂

Stay tuned. This one’s just getting started. MagnoliaWood TurkeyCalls

Today was striker day! Turned about 20 or so today.

I absolutely hate turning strikers… but deep down, I think I kinda like it. 🤣

Finishing this African Blackwood striker up with a little oil. This one is going to be a good one! 🦃
