The Martial Arts House in Hattiesburg is currently closed. The Chief Instructor James Rothery moved to another town when he took a federal law enforcement position. Three instructors that were trained by James are facilitating a Martial Arts Club that currently meets in Ellisville. Send a message to this page for more details.

As of March 8, 2016 We are now offering a children's class on tuesday and thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm. Alexander Maung will be the instructor for the kids class. The age range will be from 7-13. For details please contact either Alex at 601-447-7554 or James at 228-217-5429.

Good news everyone....Master Kenny is coming for the belt test on December 5th. Just a reminder before a test, make sure your uniform is clean and you have it all with you for the test. we take group pictures during testing.

As we close into the final months of this year we have scheduled our next belt test to be on December 5th at 11a.m. We expect several successful rank elevations to include a new black belt working toward becoming an assistant instructor.

In other news, we are still hard working toward recruiting new students to fill our ranks. we're going to be opening up a 30 minute self defense class from 6-6:30pm on tuesday, thursday, and friday nights. This new class will focus exclusively on self defense for most basic situations that may face us in our daily lives.

Also, we'll be promoting gift certificates with the holiday seasons in mind. Anyone interested in gifting a month of free kung-fu lessons to a friend or loved one, may purchase a gift certificate for only $50. This is a value of up to $100 for only $50. For all that keep tabs on current events, there will be a belt test on August 29th for Purple sashes and below. At this time we may have as many as 5 students testing, but perhaps a few new faces will join us in time.

may 23rd is the next big test day! black belts and below will be enduring hours of grueling fitness and mental testing to demonstrate the quality of their kung-fu. we expect no casualties, only survivors. :)
