Snail Mail Saturday at Studio 522!💌

Remember when getting a card in the mail could completely make your day? Let’s bring that feeling back.

Join us Saturday, September 19 from 11:00 AM–12:30 PM for Snail Mail Saturday at Studio 522. For $20 per person, Abi will guide you in creating beautiful, handmade cards to send to your friends, loved ones, and some very special members of our community.

This month, we’re excited to partner with Gracie Nichols at The Claiborne to send handmade cards to some of the residents there. Who knows…you might even end up with an unexpected pen pal!

All supplies are included, and we’ll even take care of the postage. Just bring your creativity and your address book.

Space is limited, so please preregister!Registering ahead of time helps us make sure we have enough supplies for everyone.

All your regular classes continue, and we’ve added some fun new things to the lineup.

Kids Creation Station — Saturdays at 10 AM
Bring your little ones to make something fun with Abi!

Beginning Ballroom Pop-Up — September 14 & 21 at 6 PM
We’re kicking off National Ballroom Dance Week with a two-week Beginning Ballroom Pop-Up! September 14 at 6 PM will be a Foxtrot class, and September 21 at 6 PM will be Beginning East Coast Swing. Come join us and give ballroom a try!

522 Listening Room: Folk Descent — Friday, September 18 at 8 PM
The perfect opportunity to stroll over from Live at Five and keep the live music going all night long.

The JiggleWatts — September 16
The JiggleWatts are coming all the way from Austin, Texas, as part of their 20th anniversary tour. They’ll be offering a two-hour burlesque class with three separate instructors. This is a special one you won’t want to miss.

Snail Mail Saturday — September 19 at 11 AM
Get crafty, write some letters, and send them off to your friends and some special members of our community.

Burlesque Solo Workshop Review — September 26 at 8 PM
These performers have been working hard all summer, and can’t wait to strut their stuff!

NEW: Beginning Ballroom Pop-Up Series!

Interested in learning ballroom dance but not sure you’re ready to commit to a full class series? These bite-sized classes are perfect for you!

This fall, we’re offering two Monday pop-up classes each month, giving you the opportunity to try different ballroom styles with a low commitment and discover which dance is the best fit for you.

September classes:

September 14 — Beginning Foxtrot
September 21 — Beginning East Coast Swing
6:00 PM
$15 per person

These classes will lead into our new Beginner Ballroom Series beginning in 2027.

You may pay by cash or card at the door, but we highly recommend pre-registering on our website to reserve your spot.
