Suffolk County High School Hockey League

No school team? Your player can still play high school hockey this winter!

Every fall the SCHSHL holds a draft for players whose school district doesn't field a team. Seven Suffolk districts have no team this season: Babylon, Deer Park, Mattituck-Cutchogue, Patchogue-Medford, Riverhead, Shoreham-Wading River, and Westhampton Beach. Players cut from a school team can enter too, with a cut slip from that team's GM.

Register, enter the player pool, and on draft night varsity and JV GMs pick players to fill their rosters. From there it's a full season: schedule, standings, stats, playoffs. Goalies are in short supply across the league this year.

Registration closes September 1. The draft is Thursday, September 3.
