Players are evaluated over multiple sessions and placed on teams based on skill level — not just one tryout.

P.A.L. Sound Tigers 12U – Gold Medal Champions

The 12U P.A.L. Sound Tigers brought home the gold from the CanAm Challenge Cup in Lake Placid, finishing the tournament with an impressive 4-1 record.
Led by Head Coach Sam Rank and Assistant Coach Scott Goldman, the team battled through tough competition and capped off the weekend with an overtime victory against the Las Vegas Ice Warriors.
Winning on the iconic 1980 rink makes this one even more special.
Strong effort from start to finish. Great job, boys.

Colin’s Joy Project – Teddy Bear Toss Game

Join us for a special afternoon of hockey for a great cause.

Bring a new teddy bear to throw onto the ice after the first goal as part of the Teddy Bear Toss.

💙 Suggested Donation: $20 at the door
👧 Kids under 12 are free

All proceeds and teddy bears will be donated to children’s programs through Colin’s Joy Project.

Come out, support a meaningful cause, and help fill the ice with teddy bears.

The P.A.L. Jr Islanders Juniors Combine begins next week.

This 4-session skate series is open to players born in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 and gives players the opportunity to get on the ice in a competitive environment while working with the P.A.L. Jr Islanders NCDC staff.

Sessions will take place at Northwell Health Ice Center and The Rinx in Hauppauge.

These skates are a great opportunity for players to compete, sharpen their game, and connect with the P.A.L. Jr Islanders program as we continue building for the upcoming season.
