Today was bigger than hockey. 🏆🏒

Long Island’s own Brandon Bussi brought the Stanley Cup home — to the rinx he first skated at.

And what happened at The Rinx today was something we’ll never forget.

The line stretched through the parking lot. Kids, parents, coaches and hockey families packed the rink — crying, cheering and staring at the Cup in complete awe.

After nearly two hours, they eventually had to cut the line off… but Brandon made sure no one who came out missed their chance to see The Cup.

He walked the Stanley Cup down the entire remaining line, while his family passed out hundreds of autographed photos.

His family, his wife (MARY BUSSI )and her family were there celebrating alongside everyone, and sharing the moment with the Long Island hockey community.

Randy from The Rinx said it best: “I’ve never seen anything like this in my 34 years at The Rinx.” Neither have we.

And for us, there was another moment that hit home: looking around and seeing so many people wearing Long Island Hockey Co. gear.

We created this brand because we love this community. To see it represented on a day like today — celebrating a Long Island kid who grew up playing on these same rinks and went on to win the Stanley Cup — was incredibly humbling.

This is Long Island hockey.
