All season this group has faced adversity. Early on, mental toughness was a weakness for us—but this team chose to turn it into a strength. Every challenge, every tough game, every moment of doubt helped build the resilience these boys are showing now.

Now the Haverhill 6th Gold Boys are rolling at the right time heading into the playoffs.

The best part? All 10 players filled out their goal sheets—and every single one had the same goal. That says everything about this team and the bond they’ve built.

Gold rolled into the Ryan Bourque Invitational with one mission and walked out holding the crown after taking down a tough, physical, never‑quit Lawrence BGC squad in the final. This wasn’t luck. This wasn’t chance. This was heart, discipline, and Haverhill pride on full display.

From the opening tip to the last possession, these boys played with fire in their chest and ice in their veins—locking up on defense, sharing the rock, and stepping up in every big moment. Championship teams don’t talk about it… they prove it.

Tonight, our 6th grade Gold boys represented Haverhill with absolute class at the Ryan Bourque Invitational, delivering a composed, disciplined, and team‑first win over a strong Wayne, NJ squad.

From crisp ball movement to locked‑in defensive rotations, this group showed what happens when talent meets preparation. Every player contributed. Every possession mattered. And the unity in this photo says everything about who they are becoming—on and off the court.

This wasn’t just a victory. It was a program‑level statement.

Proud of their effort. Proud of their growth. Proud of the way they carry the Gold standard wherever they go.
