🚗 We’re proud to announce the installation of the STISIM Drive® M4000-OT at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Laredo. This milestone marks the completion of a 15-year vision by Jodie M Sandel, OTD, OTR to add high-fidelity into her occupational therapy practices; culminating with this system being integrated into UTMB’s occupational therapy doctoral program.

This system will serve 3 critical pillars of the UTMB mission:
* Clinical care: Partnering with Laredo Rehabilitation Hospital to treat patients with Parkinson’s and cognitive impairments.
* Education: Providing doctoral students with evidence-based, hands-on clinical .
* Research: Advancing studies in neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental conditions, including Alzheimer’s and Autism.

We’re honored to provide the technology that will empower the next generation of to enhance patient independence and safety in South Texas.

We’ve wrapped up an impactful week in Anaheim. Engaging with the community at Booth #715 reaffirmed that high-fidelity is essential for evidence-based practice and patient independence.

We have deployed STISIM Drive® at Northwell Health’s Center for Psychedelics Research and Treatment at Zucker Hillside Hospital – integrating advanced driving simulation into emerging psychedelics studies.

As Dr. Nehal Vadhan notes, “This simulator allows us to quantify those effects with precision, helping us better understand both potential risks and therapeutic implications.”

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano has added the STISIM Drive® M3000-OT, becoming the second Texas Health site to expand its services.

Therapists across , , , and quickly embraced the system during training, seeing its value for both driving and therapeutic interventions. A patient with a head injury even completed initial scenarios—an encouraging step toward returning to driving.
