Today, we’re proud to recognize Brandon Bubar, Golf Course Superintendent, and the entire Avondale Grounds Team for the incredible work they put into our golf course every single day.

The conditions our members and guests enjoy don’t happen by accident. They come from early mornings, long days, attention to detail, and a team that takes tremendous pride in their work.

Brandon’s leadership and the dedication of his team continue to elevate Avondale, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of everything they do behind the scenes.

⛳️ LABOR DAY OPEN WEEKEND IS HERE! 🇺🇸🏆

The Annual Avondale Labor Day Open kicks off tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to a great weekend of golf, competition and fun at the Club!

A few important Club updates as we prepare for the tournament:

🏌️ Driving Range
The range will close at 3:00 PM today for tournament festivities.

🍽️ Bar & Grill
• Closing at 4:00 PM today
• Closed until 5:00 PM Saturday & Sunday
• Dinner service begins at 5:00 PM both days

🐎 Saturday Horse Race
Come out Saturday afternoon and catch the action! The Horse Race is always one of the highlights of Labor Day Open weekend and a great opportunity to cheer on the field.

🔥 HELP US SUPPORT LOCAL FAMILIES IMPACTED BY THE WILDFIRES

The Avondale Golf Club Foundation is committed to making a quick, meaningful impact for families affected by the recent Spokane-area wildfires.

All funds raised through this effort will be disbursed directly to the Spokane Valley Firefighters Benevolent Association, which is already providing immediate assistance to families in need.

Through their program, $500 is given directly to each family impacted.

Our goal is simple: raise $2,500 and help at least FIVE local families.

❤️ $500 raised = 1 family helped
❤️ $1,000 raised = 2 families helped
❤️ $2,500 raised = 5 families helped

Every donation matters. Whether it's $25, $50, $100, or more, your contribution helps put practical assistance directly into the hands of a local family when they need it most.

Help us reach our $2,500 goal and make an immediate difference for five families in our community.

🏆 2026 MEN’S LEAGUE 🏆

Another great Men’s League season is in the books at Avondale! Congratulations to PSP, taking the top spot with 1,098.5 points.

A big congratulations to the 12 teams who made the playoffs finishing in the money, with Henry Griffitts taking second and Team Hampied rounding out the top three.

Thank you to everyone who competed throughout the season and made Wednesday Men’s League another great one. Great golf, great competition, and a lot of fun along the way!
