Congrats to two time All American AJ Cooper on being named the next head football coach for his Alma Mater Cimmaron HS!

Cimarron High School is excited to announce AJ Cooper as the next Head Football Coach of the Cimarron Bluejays!

Coach Cooper brings passion, leadership, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. We are excited for the future of Bluejay Football and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our program and school community.

These dudes went to war yesterday! U23 Greco tourney was bananas! Ender Rider finishes as an All American with a 6-3 record. Kaiden Hoffman goes 5-2 and makes the blood round (with 3 5-point actions en route). Kolton Field goes 4-2 and showed some crazy grit! Jackson Thomas makes the blood round at 130kg. Ernesto Duenez, Griffin Bohanan, and Griffin Mitchell finished at 1-2. Hunter Harris, Aiden shields, Tacoma Augustine and Cam Shultz let it fly but were unable to pick up a win. Freestyle starts at 9:30 today!

Please welcome Derreck Buford to the Tiger Wrestling Family! Derreck is a 3X finalist and 1X State Champ from Crowley County Colorado! He is another solid pick up for the 125 # weight class here in Hays!

We had a great time at the Inaugural ROAR Awards last night for FHSU Athletics! Ryan Patterson received the MIAA SAAC Student Athlete Mentor of the Year award and Cason Lindsey was awarded our team’s MOW as well as the Men’s Comeback Athlete of the Year for the entire department! Our team banquet will take place May 8th.

Men's Wrestling Places 16 on MIAA Academic Honor Roll - FHSU Athletics Men's wrestling placed 16 student-athletes on this year's MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Cason Lindsey’s career comes to an end here at the NCAA Championships. After missing the last two seasons due to injury, he stays the course, believes in the process, and nearly makes the podium in his last shot. The program is extremely proud of Cason and his commitment to wanting to be the best. Congrats on a great career Cason. You have Tiger blood running thru your veins.
