The Larks' tradition started in 1946 with the naming of the "Hays Larks." In 2012, the Larks won their 7th Jayhawk League championship in the last 12 years.
This tradition was embraced by the community of Hays and has been kept alive by loyal supporters.

The Larks celebrated their 80th anniversary in style Friday night, earning a 1-0 victory in 10 innings at Larks Park.
