Pedestrian safety in the Hayward and Eden Area is a primary concern for us at Bike Hayward. Yesterday, Bike Hayward joined residents and Alameda County Transportation Commission’s walk audit of the Grove Way neighborhood to experience and give feedback, traveling Grove Way from Carlos Bee park in Castro Valley to Foothill Blvd in Hayward. The testimony will be used to inform the design of safety upgrades for this treacherous corridor. Here’s to a more walkable and livable Eden Area!
